The Legend of the OG Sukuls
The first version of this digital madness was rolled out back in 1997—a time when the internet made screeching noises and getting a "finished college" degree was actually possible. By 2001, the founders realized the world was too big (and they were too broke), so they stopped all updates and scattered across the globe to find themselves.
Now, twenty-five years later, their kids and young cousins—having clearly run out of better things to do on TikTok—have decided to launch Version 2.0. They’ve inherited the domain name, the "Sukulgunda" spirit, and luckily, none of the 90s dial-up lag.
Our "Highly Sophisticated" Mission
Sukulgunda 2.0 hopes to be a digital platform for... well, stuff that matters. Our mission is to inform, engage, and inspire through thoughtful writing—or at least provide you with something better to read than your distant uncle's political rants on Facebook.
